Plans

Now that Kerri has finished her degree and started work as a travel agent it is time for Lil and John to "blow in the wind". The plastering business has been sold and Lil has quit her High School teaching position.

The house has been let and the room at the back of the house is being turned into a self contained flat for Kerri. A shed has been built to house all the household furniture and vehicles.

Kerri has agreed to take on the job of property manager for the rentals.

A contractor has been employed to mow the grass and keep an eye on the orchard.

A ticket has been bought using up all the air points- one way to Bangkok, Thailand. Visas have yet to be got and an appointment with the Travel Doctor has been made. The old vaccination certificates from 1975 have been found and the " A Healthy Guide for International Travellers" has been read.

The Lonely Planet guides have been borrowed from the library and scanned. The address book has been researched and friends' home towns have been marked on the atlas.

The lists of things to get, buy, research, borrow, find, fix, sew,clean, remember have started......

The excitement grows...
