After an 11 hour bus trip from Stung Treng we arrived at Siem Reap so that we could visit Angkor Wat. We found a very nice hotel and bought a 3 day ticket to visit the temples at Angkor Wat. Our first day at the temples was 20/07/2007 and it is thought to be lucky by Buddhists so there were many weddings on that day.
Now that Angkor Wat has made the latest "7 Wonders of the World" the prices of hotels in Siem Reap have risen!
